LES NOUVELLES GUÉRILLÈRES
A Bruxelles vari gruppi di attiviste femministe compiono azioni di protesta negli spazi pubblici. Dimostrazioni, attacchinaggio di messaggi di rivendicazione per le strade, gite in bicicletta, organizzazione di eventi di decolonizzazione della mentalità comune attraverso l’arte. Da sole o in gruppo, le attiviste combattono le disuguaglianze di genere, il sessismo e il razzismo che si manifestano anche attraverso l’organizzazione dello spazio urbano, le statue, le architetture, i nomi delle strade. Le nuove guerriere denunciano il patriarcato e propongono soluzioni per un’altra convivenza possibile e paritaria, in un territorio in cui nessuna sia invisibile o denigrata.
By protesting, glueing strong messages in the streets, organising bike “rides” through town, and even by decolonising mentalities through art. Whether alone or as a collective, these women activists are fighting inequalities based on gender, racism and sexism within the urban space, which appear also through the organization of urban spaces, statues, architecture, street names. To each their own action and at their own level, they call out the prevailing patriarchy and suggest alternative egalitarian ways of living together, in a territory where nobody would be invisibilised or depreciated.
