YULIA & JULIET
Storia d’amore contemporanea basata su Romeo and Juliet di Shakespeare. Yulia e Juliet, due sedicenni, sono rinchiuse in un carcere minorile. In una situazione così avversa, trovano conforto e amore l’una nell’altra e sono convinte di potere affrontare insieme le difficoltà. Ma poi Juliet viene dimessa per buona condotta e anche perché il tempo che doveva scontare è finito, mentre Yulia non può ancora ottenere la libertà a causa del suo comportamento ribelle. Senza Juliet, Yulia non sa cosa fare, è disperata, ma anche Juliet si trova a disagio senza Yulia nel mondo esterno. Entrambe cercano una soluzione rischiando il tutto per tutto.
Yulia and Juliet, both 16, are locked up in a closed juvenile detention centre. Despite their circumstances, they feel like they can take on anything together. They’re in love with each other. Nothing can hurt them when they’re together. But then Juliet is released. Her time in the institution is over. Yulia doesn’t know what to do. She can’t live without Juliet. When they see each other again, they look at each other with love in their eyes. Then everything goes black.
